PATIENT PAMPER DAY : A day of loving & heart-warming service to our patients

Patient Pamper Day at St Bernard’s Hospice  is a FREE day of relaxing beauty therapies, inspiring chats and encouragement for mind body & spirit designed specifically for our patients who are mostly house bound.   

15 Patients were randomly selected and the STBH nursing sisters collected them from their homes at about 09h30 and together, with a few carers and office staff, we served our patients refreshments and snacks, offered foot and hand soaks and gentle massages.   It was a day of loving & heart-warming service to our patients and it was an absolute pleasure spoiling them.

It was a humbling experience and I am extremely grateful I was chosen to participate.

Unlike some charity pamper days our pamper day is not a fundraiser, and is NOT open to the general public, but If you wish to become involved and/or volunteer your services please get hold of our Nursing Department at 043 -721 0051.   Our next scheduled Patient Pamper Day is on the 15 August 2018
