Showcasing our very own garden at the Charity Shop – 44 St Marks Road, Southernwood and privileged to be nominated as beneficiary of another garden,  22 Oakhill, Berea

As a selected beneficiary for the PAM GOLDING GARDENS OF EAST LONDON, we were THRILLED when we were given the go ahead to showcase our very own St Bernard’s Charity Shop garden this year;  and privileged to be allocated another stunning garden at 22 Oakhill, Berea.

Our amazing volunteers and staff worked tirelessly for over 7 weeks to get the Charity Shops front garden and pool area presentable for the Big Day and we can gratefully report that it was well worth the effort.

Finding different ways to raise funds in the NPO Sector is certainly essential, but not our only objective when we decide to pioneer a new idea like this.   We were thrilled to welcome old and new faces, all enquiring and taking interest in how our amazing qualified nursing staff and carers look after our patients living with life limiting illnesses;   asking for more information on our events,  all interest ultimately creating AWARENESS about this incredible organization.

The Charity Shop was filled to the brim with items on sale for less 50%;   our Coffee Shop was well stocked with scrumptious sweets kindly donated by our volunteers and of course,  our newly laid garden and plant saplings giving the public a taste of how stunning it will all look in 2019 when plants start growing and our garden is more established.

How the Pam Golding Garden of East London helps raise funds for St Bernard’s Hospice –

The East London Community purchase their ticket for R50 from St Bernard’s Hospice;  the ticket allows the bearer to enter ALL the Gardens listed on the Pam Golding Garden of East London Poster.

Proceeds from the St Bernard’s Hospice ticket sales remains St Bernard’s Hospice;  hence our excitement at promoting maximum ticket sales.
