We are thrilled to announce that we have decided to collate and publish a Community cookbook filled with the most scrumptious recipes from the best cooks in OUR COMMUNITY – and we need YOUR recipes!
There is an aspect of this COVID-19 Fundraising Recipe Book for EVERYONE : House Executives / children / busy students / Restaurants / Business / Organizations / Butchers / Delicatessens / Grocery Stores and YOU.
All PROCEEDS from our Recipe Book will go towards the Care & Support of our Patients and their families.
COVID-19 Pandemic SHUTDOWN has negatively impacted on all of us. As an NPO totally reliant on fundraising for sustainability, St Bernard’s Hospice is taking major financial strain due to the cancellation of 4 of our events and closing of another of our Community income streams, the Charity Shop. The Organization is running critically low on funding to meet our monthly financial commitments; hence the idea of a Recipe Book. It is still easier to cook from a book, than to try and keep your cell phone screen on whilst you manoeuvre a recipe on Google!
Some General information ABOUT the Recipe Book
Book Size : A5 size with soft cover with 160 Pages (excluding cover and back page)
Advertising & Logos: Black and white, Cover and back cover will be in colour.
Administration : Complete and return and we will invoice – Banking details will be included.
In a nutshell, we are looking for the following please in order to make this a success:
- Sponsors for the pages – R150 each page – you get a FREE Recipe book, so it only really costs you R100.
- Recipes – R50 each – you can submit 20 recipes, it will cost you R50 for each.
- Sale of Books – R50 each
- Outlets where folk can buy the recipe books. Eg. Ideal Butchery, Grocery Stores, Shops, church, etc
- Buy 6 Books, get one Book Free – they are going to be lovely stocking fillers for Christmas, birthdays and as a gift to a friend
