There was great excitement when we received an email from Janet Deetlefs informing us that St Bernard’s Hospice had once again been chosen as the sole beneficiary for their fund raiser, being the “Haga Haga Soup Evening”.

They had the most amazing response from the Haga Haga and Marshstrand communities.  The Haga Haga Country Club had a happy and warm atmosphere and the variety of soups made was amazing, not to mention the homemade breads and delicious apple tart for desert.

The ladies also managed to get a number of prizes donated for their raffle.  Thank you to all who supported this initiative and donated prizes to make the evening a success.

In total an amazing amount of R10 050.00 was handed over to St Bernard’s Hospice.  Thank you to the communities of Haga Haga and Marshstrand for this awesome donation, that will go towards the care and support of our patients.
